We had a great experience with Wicks 5 years ago when getting some renovations to my newly purchased property. We recently had to move into a larger place and needed some electrical work done yet again. The quality of work that was done by the electricians 5 years ago and now today (between both Brandin and Andre) was fantastic. They had clear communication, very personable, and did great quality work that we are pleased with. They were happy to answer several general questions I had as well. Should we need additional electrical work done we'll be coming back.

My last tech, Adam, solved a number of issues I didn't even know I had relating to my dimmer set up and some phantom powered cables in the wall from a previous owner. I strongly urge anyone who is trying to save money by hiring less than the BEST to rethink their strategy. I wasted time, money and a great deal of stress economizing. When I failed to get my problem resolved, I researched well-reviewed companies and found Wicks Electric. After my initial enquiry, Marianne sent me an email clarifying everything - no details spared. I was then lucky enough to have my service call answered by the CEO himself, Adam. He arrived within 2 hours and set to work quickly. It was immediately obvious to me that he was highly experienced and competent... not to mention cheerful and friendly. I live in an old house and electrical problems are not uncommon and can sometimes be very difficult. But Adam new exactly how to resolve my issue and he did it with speed and professionalism. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this company. Bite the bullet and pay for 100% satisfaction. You will not regret it.

Steve was excellent in figuring out my 3 way switch problems. He explained to me what the issue was and corrected the problem. Incredibly professional and confident. Special thanks to Cathy for organizing things and being responsive to my inquiry.

I just got bathroom fan replaced by them but not happy at all because of false advertisements from them. Good: Actual service done was good except one problem (details below), Emilio was quick, and showed me voltage from wire was still running and fan just needed replacement. He was very quick and overall, it only took less than an hour, both initial visit to diagnose problem and installing new fan. Bad: They mentioned this in email: "Just a quick reminder that our electrician will arrive with boot covers to keep your space clean. We’ll also bring a vacuum to ensure we leave the place cleaner than when we arrived." Which is completely wrong, as electrician we had did not bring boot cover, didn't take his shoes off, didn't bring vacuum, left the place way dirtier than when he arrived. Awful: They also had this on their Email: "We are transparent about our rates and have no hidden fees; this means no truck charge, fuel charge, tools charge, or other common hidden charges we see in the industry." However they charged me for 3hrs of labour because of his travel time to my place and to pick up the fan, and I live 20mins away from their office. So technically correct, they did not have hidden fee, but they'll charge you extra labour hours for electrician's travel time (as mentioned above, actual labour was less than an hour) I would not recommend them and avoid them if you can.

Over the years our company has dealt with many electrical companies, I found wicks electrical one of the best in lower mainland. Very competent electricians, fair price and very organized. I strongly recommend wicks electrical to anyone I know.

Adam made my small and non-urgent job important, communicated with me to find a time that worked and kept me posted. Really appreciated. Very professional and respectful. 100% focused on what needed to be done while on sight and took time to ensure I understood what had happened and gave me further guidance above the original ask. I’ve already recommended him to my neighbours. He also loves dogs, very important!

I've used Wicks twice now, & both times the technicians were wonderful! They've done fantastic work; making old lines dead, hanging a chandelier, & moving a humidifier button around. Highly recommend.
