Great experience with Wicks Electric. Communication with the Administrator was clear and timely and our electrician, Emilio, was efficient, thorough, informative and respectful of our space. Will definitely use Wicks Electric moving forward.

July 21, 2025I just got bathroom fan replaced by them but not happy at all because of false advertisements from them. Good: Actual service done was good except one problem (details below), Emilio was quick, and showed me voltage from wire was still running and fan just needed replacement. He was very quick and overall, it only took less than an hour, both initial visit to diagnose problem and installing new fan. Bad: They mentioned this in email: "Just a quick reminder that our electrician will arrive with boot covers to keep your space clean. We’ll also bring a vacuum to ensure we leave the place cleaner than when we arrived." Which is completely wrong, as electrician we had did not bring boot cover, didn't take his shoes off, didn't bring vacuum, left the place way dirtier than when he arrived. Awful: They also had this on their Email: "We are transparent about our rates and have no hidden fees; this means no truck charge, fuel charge, tools charge, or other common hidden charges we see in the industry." However they charged me for 3hrs of labour because of his travel time to my place and to pick up the fan, and I live 20mins away from their office. So technically correct, they did not have hidden fee, but they'll charge you extra labour hours for electrician's travel time (as mentioned above, actual labour was less than an hour) I would not recommend them and avoid them if you can.

August 14, 2025A Wicks Electric team came to our house to assemble and mount a large overhead dining room fixture. The work was done quickly and efficiently and with the least disruption of our home by two friendly electricians. On time, on budget. I was so impressed I arranged for a further electrical project in the immediate future. High marks.

May 21, 2025I've used Wicks Electic's services a couple times now and every time has been absolutley brilliant. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly technicians who really go the extra mile. My last tech, Adam, solved a number of issues I didn't even know I had relating to my dimmer set up and some phantom powered cables in the wall from a previous owner. I'll definitely be using Wicks again. So good to find a business that really cares about the work. Thank you!

August 21, 2024Despite the many good reviews, I did not have the best experience with Wicks. Pros: punctual, friendly, and polite... but then the pros end there Cons: poor work that needed fixing by another company Unfortunately when I hired Wicks to install a couple of bathroom fans for me the work was not done well, and ultimately I had to remove the fans myself and hired a different company to complete the work properly. Disappointed that despite the fact the person they sent was extremely friendly, that person also failed to check their own work before leaving (and damaged the drywall as well). Because of this I did not trust Wick's to fix this issue and went with Vancity Electric instead who did an excellent job.

August 21, 2024I used wicks because of all of the wonderful reviews and couldn’t be happier!!! I had Andre install new wall lights in my bathroom. He communicated he was running behind. The work was done efficiently and exactly what I wanted. He was super friendly answered all the questions I had about doing other lights with suggestions. I am so happy and will use them for all my electrical projects in the future!!!! Big shout out to Andre 😀😀😀😀😀

July 21, 2025Had a great experience working with this Adam. They finished the main job quickly and even took care of a few other items around the home, which was super helpful. Communication was solid throughout—especially around scheduling. Even though they arrived later than expected, they kept me updated and still managed to get everything done on time. Would recommend.

Adam made my small and non-urgent job important, communicated with me to find a time that worked and kept me posted. Really appreciated. Very professional and respectful. 100% focused on what needed to be done while on sight and took time to ensure I understood what had happened and gave me further guidance above the original ask. I’ve already recommended him to my neighbours. He also loves dogs, very important!

May 21, 2025The male receptionist they have was great but the philipino lady with the thick accent they got following up/scheduling the appointments is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Called me twice and both times, 30-40secs mid conversations she would just “ok thank you” and hang up the call. I would try to call her back and would get sent to voicemail. I’m sure they record their calls, they should review her conversations because god knows how many other clients she’s lost the company.
