Despite the many good reviews, I did not have the best experience with Wicks. Pros: punctual, friendly, and polite... but then the pros end there Cons: poor work that needed fixing by another company Unfortunately when I hired Wicks to install a couple of bathroom fans for me the work was not done well, and ultimately I had to remove the fans myself and hired a different company to complete the work properly. Disappointed that despite the fact the person they sent was extremely friendly, that person also failed to check their own work before leaving (and damaged the drywall as well). Because of this I did not trust Wick's to fix this issue and went with Vancity Electric instead who did an excellent job.

Brent did a great job installing our fixtures—quick, professional, and everything looks perfect.

I've used Wicks Electic's services a couple times now and every time has been absolutley brilliant. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly technicians who really go the extra mile. My last tech, Adam, solved a number of issues I didn't even know I had relating to my dimmer set up and some phantom powered cables in the wall from a previous owner. Had a great experience working with this Adam. They finished the main job quickly and even took care of a few other items around the home, which was super helpful. Communication was solid throughout—especially around scheduling. Even though they arrived later than expected, they kept me updated and still managed to get everything done on time. Would recommend.

There were a few initial challenges in finding a suitable time for the appointment, but Marianne was proactive and kept me in mind for any earlier openings. Thanks to her efforts, I was scheduled in much sooner than expected. Adam came by to inspect my broken doorbell and suggested a faster and more cost-effective solution to replace the old system. Overall, a very positive experience — I’d definitely recommend them!

Quick and easy

Starting with the initial phone conversation and email thread, I felt really comfortable with the process and all the costs were very transparent from the get-go. When the technician Liam came out, he was very prepared with the potential parts he needed to fix a wonky three-way switch, and patiently answered our questions.
