Covenant House Sleep Out

Adam has raised over $6000 for homeless youth and will be sleeping on the street tonight.
A huge thank you to everyone who have helped with this amazing cause. I am deeply touched by all those who have donated.
8 degrees and rainy is the weather prediction for this evening.. It’s a reminder that so many of the youth we are raising funds for experience homelessness in the wet and uncomfortable weather we often experience herein Vancouver.

At Sleep Out, I’ll have some protection from the cold, wet weather. Young people facing homelessness are not as lucky. They’re often on the street with nothing but the clothes on their backs, with no shelter to protect them from the rainy conditions. Covenant House’s doors are open 24/7, 365 days a year, to offer them safety and sanctuary.

Hard at Work

Usually busy meeting clients and securing new contracts Adam loves to strap on the tools and work with the crew every opportunity he gets. Team work makes the dream work!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

The tradition continues!  Every year Adam treats the crew to lunch and a pint of Guinness to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Many of us have Irish roots, especially the Wicks clan. May your Irish eyes be smiling!

Sunshine!

After our snowy weather of late it is nice to see the white stuff melting away and this view teases of the promise that spring is coming soon. For all your electrical needs – no matter what the season we’re here for you – ready to tackle your project!

Lest we Forget

As we pause to remember and thank those who serve our country, past and present, we wanted to share this photo of Grandpa Wicks, a sparky in the Navy in WWII. After the war he remained in the Navy as an electrical engineer until his retirement.  Our heartfelt thanks to those who fought and continue to do so, protecting our freedoms and enabling us to live the lives we do.  Lest We Forget.

A Great Start to the Week

Ready to roll on a Monday morning are recent additions to the crew, James and Sarah.  We are stoked to welcome them to the Wicks Team and know they will uphold the highest standards of workmanship, efficiency and professionalism that our contractors and clients have come to expect from Wicks Electric!
