Covenant House Sleep Out
| Adam has raised over $6000 for homeless youth and will be sleeping on the street tonight. A huge thank you to everyone who have helped with this amazing cause. I am deeply touched by all those who have donated. 8 degrees and rainy is the weather prediction for this evening.. It’s a reminder that so many of the youth we are raising funds for experience homelessness in the wet and uncomfortable weather we often experience herein Vancouver. At Sleep Out, I’ll have some protection from the cold, wet weather. Young people facing homelessness are not as lucky. They’re often on the street with nothing but the clothes on their backs, with no shelter to protect them from the rainy conditions. Covenant House’s doors are open 24/7, 365 days a year, to offer them safety and sanctuary. |
